Originally established in 2009 as Hi-Tech Construction Company, the organization was formally incorporated on 4 April 2012 under the Companies Act of Bhutan. HTCPL is registered under Registration No. U20120404BHU180 and holds Construction Development Board (CDB) Registration No. 4840 as a Large Category contractor. The company’s head office is located in Khuruthang, Punakha, Bhutan.
